CW1128/1179/1198 telephone
cables are ideal when screening is required on telephone systems. The
aluminium tape provides high levels of EMI protection (and also works
as a moisture barrier on non jelly filled cables). The steel wire armour
provides superb mechanical protection making the cables suitable for direct
burial and exposed installations. The outer sheath is made from tough,
durable polyethylene or external grade PVC which is UV and sunlight resistant.
The cores are bedded in petroleum jelly to prevent the ingress of moisture.
