BS 5308 Part 2 Type 2 RP-PVC - Individual and collective screened

Application

Originally developed for communications and signalling within the process control industry this cable is now widely used in other industrial applications. This screening combination offers excellent protection from electro magnetic interference. These cables are armoured making them ideal for fixed installation when there is risk of mechanical damage.
  

Construction

Plain annealed copper wire conductors to BS 6360, class 1, 2 or 5, PVC insulation, laid up as cores, twisted into pairs or triples depending on the type required, overall foil screen and drain wire, PE bedding, galvanised steel wire armour, RP-PVC sheath - Black or blue.

Conductor identification

Pairs White & blue. Pairs numbered (Alternative colour codes are also available)
Triples are produced in a variety of combinations, please check when ordering.
